Welcome to my portfolio. Here you’ll find a selection of my work. Explore my projects to learn more about what I do.

About Adisa

My name is Adisa White, and I have been doing graphic design for three years using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I started in 9th grade, and now as an 11th grader, I enjoy creating projects for my classes and others. I’ve learned many valuable skills and look forward to growing as a designer while making more creative work.

SMART Goal

My goal this year is to earn straight A’s and make the Principal’s List, which will help me rank in the top 25% of my class and prepare for the End of Pathway Assessment (EOPA). To achieve this, I will build my hard skills in Illustrator and Photoshop, strengthen soft skills like time management and communication, and apply my learning to real-world projects through my MYP proposal. By studying consistently, completing assignments on time, and asking questions in class, I will track my progress through the gradebook and know I have succeeded when my final grades show straight A’s.

Portfolio Reflection: Self-Evaluation

Overall, I see improvement in my portfolio and my growth as a graphic designer. One weakness I recognize is that I sometimes struggle with finding inspiration and I tend to overthink my ideas. Since I am still in the learning process, I know I need to keep practicing and building confidence in my creative decisions. On the other hand, one of my biggest strengths is my motivation. I enjoy working on new projects, and my drive pushes me to keep improving and experimenting with design. This balance of recognizing my weaknesses while using my strengths helps me stay focused on growth.
